hosts Dave and Chris enjoy a break in the trip The Trip:
Our adventure runs from the Grimes Point Archeological Park just outside Fallon to Austin. The trip covers about 110 miles and takes about eight hours with stops.

Leaving Grimes Point, we head East on U.S. Highway 50 to Middlegate, where we turn right on to Nevada Route 722. This road takes us through a much more scenic and mountainous area before joining up again with Highway 50 just outside of Austin, our destination.
