KNPB Channel 5 fundraising efforts include two separate annual auctions. Early in June, KNPB presents "Lights! Camera! Auction!", seven nights of live television where viewers bid from the comfort of their homes, by phone or online on goods and services donated by a variety of businesses and organizations. Each autumn, KNPB celebrates the glory of fine wines with the "Aged to Perfection" Wine Auction featuring a selection on wine, art and other items that are available for on-air viewers to bid upon.

Both auctions feature on-air coverage as well as online companion sites and print promotion. The funds generated from the auction help support KNPB Public Broadcasting and all the station's services.
