The
KNPB Channel 5 Birthday Club is for the younger viewers of public broadcasting.
Many parents are alarmed by the frequency and intensity of depictions
of violence in many television offerings. PBS programs are never in question.
You can trust KNPB and PBS to present wholesome, educational , and
entertaining programs that help prepare children for life. When the federal
funding debate was at its height, the quality of PBS children's programming
was the example most used to argue for continuance of funding. PBS prides
itself on providing a safe haven for your family.
The KNPB Birthday Club invites its members to events throughout the year.
This May, join Curious George and the Man in the Yellow Hat for the KNPB Fun Hunt at Rancho San Rafael Park.
The KNPB Birthday Club welcomes you and your family, and we hope you enjoy all
the wonderful things that we have to offer. After all, Public Broadcasting
is all about viewing pleasure for the entire family.
Every
KNPB Membership of $75 or higher receives our wonderful benefit of
the Channel 5 MemberCard, which entitles you to 2-1 dining and discounts
to selected area attractions, and performing arts events.
For years KNPB has
brought quality children's programming to the viewing audience, and thanks
to the Birthday Club, children can now have official gift and play items
from their favorite shows.
Birthday
Club membership is for children ages 1 through 10.
