Join KNPB and Washoe County Regional Parks and Open Space for the grand opening of the new Hidden Valley Regional Dog Park. Once there you will be able to meet Martha, the star of the new PBS Kids program Martha Speaks!

Please feel free to invite all of your friends, family, and of course your own dogs provided they are on a leash. The price of admission to this fun filled event is one can of Martha's favorite (you guessed it) alphabet soup. The soup will be generously donated to the Northern Nevada Food Bank.

All KNPB Birthday Club members be sure to show up, because if you do you will recieve a free Martha Speaks book of your very own.

The Martha Speaks animated TV series is based on the best-selling children's book series by Susan Meddaugh, following the adventures of Martha, a loveable dog whose appetite for alphabet soup gives her the ability to speak. Using her newfound abilities, Martha gets jobs, wears disguises, foils bad guys, wins contests and orders lots of steaks.
