KNPB Welcomes Raley as Development Officer
Jane Raley has joined KNPB as the organization's Development Officer. Raley holds a BA in Journalism with a photo emphasis from Metropolitan State College of Denver. Her work background includes management, fundraising, sales and photojournalism.
Prior to KNPB, Raley worked as the Development Director for the Reno Phil, where she doubled the number of donors and increased the major donor database while reducing expenses by creating community partnerships.
“We are excited and honored to have Jane join our team,” said KNPB President and CEO Kurt Mische. “Her impeccable reputation in the market and her experience bring a strong dimension to our team.”
As a mother whose children grew up watching PBS programs like Clifford the Big Red Dog and Reading Rainbow, Raley comes to KNPB with the goal of helping the station continue to provide excellent service and programming to our community.
"I am excited to join KNPB and help to develop and retain friendships, which will let them expand all the programs they provide to our community," said Raley. "The three things I am most passionate about – the arts, education, and nature, KNPB does. They do great work here!”
"Jane’s presence and personality – not to mention her years of experience and local connections – will help move our PBS station forward," said Peter Stanton, Vice President of Development. "We are excited to welcome her to the team, and I am personally delighted to be working with her."
