KNPB Welcomes New Vice President for Development

RENO, Nev. July 20, 2017— KNPB President and CEO Kurt Mische announced today that Latricia Huston has joined the team as Vice President for Development. In her role, Huston will be responsible for all fundraising activities including; corporate support, membership, major gifts, planned gifts and special events. 

“Growth and community awareness are always at the forefront of our efforts,” said Mische. “Bringing in new talent to assist us in our mission is key to the success of our organization. We’re thrilled to welcome Latricia to KNPB and are confident she will be a fantastic addition to our team.”

Huston brings to her new position 20 years of fundraising experience in public radio. Prior to accepting her role at KNPB, she was the director of development at WRKF, NPR member station in Baton Rouge, LA.  In 2015, Huston was invited to participate in the Public Media Women in Leadership program which is designed to train and mentor women in middle management positions to become leaders in public media.
