Pendergraft Named KNPB Corporate Account Executive

(Reno, NV) – April Pendergraft a Sacramento native, has joined KNPB as a Corporate Account Executive, and has a long history of working for non-profits, which will serve KNPB and its clients well.

Pendergraft helped build the development department and increase annual revenue at the North County Humane Society through their merger with the San Diego Humane Society.  During this time, she also received her Certificate in Fund Raising Management from the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy through Indiana University.

Pendergraft served as the Membership Director at KSDS, San Diego’s public jazz radio station.  After successfully guiding the organization to its highest annual revenue, she became Development Director and led the development team for another several years. Most recently, April was Development Director for KCBX, Central Coast Public Radio in San Luis Obispo, CA.  She now joins KNPB’s Development team as the Corporate Account Executive.

Pendergraft is excited to join the northern Nevada community and get out and explore what our community has to offer.

KNPB channels are also available on cable and satellite services. Through the support of local corporations and foundations, as well as individual members, KNPB has been delivering public television and educational services to the communities it serves since 1983.
