PTV at Sea
PTVatSea is an exciting travel opportunity for members and friends of public broadcasting.

• From April 7 – 18, 2008, the journey travels along America’s historic Atlantic coastline and then across the water to Bermuda and the Bahamas. For fans of Washington Week, Gwen Ifill will join us with a distinguished panel of journalist guests to examine the 2008 presidential election, taking your questions and uncovering the strategies and issues that will drive the nation’s decision-making process. • From November 15 – December 1, 2008, the journey begins in Italy and travels to exquisite ports in Spain, Portugal, and Morocco and then across the expansive waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Renowned documentary filmmaker Ric Burns, producer and co-writer of The Civil War and director of the critically acclaimed The History of New York, will discuss his upcoming documentaries. Jac Venza of Great Performances will join us for a thrilling look back at the history of one of PBS’ longest-running programs. This cruise departs from the port of Rome, traverses the Mediterranean, crosses the Atlantic and ends in Fort Lauderdale
