The Nevada Experience is a collection of video segments which portray the history, culture, and people of Nevada, both today and in years past.

Over the eight years of its production, The Nevada Experience has earned the distinction of being the most-viewed local production of KNPB/Channel 5.

Topics include profiles of prominent leaders in Nevada politics and culture, the landscape and architecture of Northern Nevada, prehistoric relics of the early Native Americans in Nevada, and aspects of Nevada lifestyle, past and present.

The segments featured in this educators' kit have been chosen because of their correlation to Nevada Social Studies curriculum in the content area of Nevada Studies and American History.
