NTTI
/ NETL Workshop
NTTI/NETL
2005 is a two-day conference March 5 and 6, 2005 for which PDE
Credit will be available to all that attend both days.
The combined conference will offer administrators and educators
an opportunity to learn innovative ways to integrate technologies
within the classroom, tips and tricks for using databases, and
offer educators a methodology for creating media-rich lessons,
combining the use of video, Internet resources, and exciting hands
on experiences to maximize learning.
Master Teachers develop lessons in science, math, language arts,
social studies, and fine arts which use related websites and/or
other technological resources, to set the scene for dynamic classroom
activities. The NTTI sessions feature Master Teachers as they model
the “best practices” suggested in the lessons. All
lessons are correlated to Nevada curriculum standards.
NETL sessions feature curriculum and multimedia based content.
The curriculum content focuses on integration of technology into
standards based education. The multimedia portion presents educators
with an opportunity to explore the use of technology production
tools, video, multimedia, and data management, in the classroom.
Each participant will receive a binder and/or CD rom, including
lessons, related information about technology, a bibliography of
both printed and technology-based resources and lots of cool stuff
for the classroom.
Call for sessions will be posted on www.knpb.org in the Fall 2004.
Save the dates for NTTI/NETL 2005 — Saturday, March
5 and Sunday, March 6, 2005.
