As part of our "Ready To Learn" Service, we offer free, a series of training sessions and workshops for parents, grandparents, teachers and caregivers.

The workshops are designed to teach the participants how to use television as an educational tool; how to extend children's learning by using books and related activities; and how to become familiar with PBS educational materials. The workshops weave the PBS children's programs into them. Workshops feature segments from all our children's series, with some workshops developed around one specific program.

At all our workshops we provide information about ways to link the goals of all of our children's program series to books and related activities. We also provide an opportunity for the audience to practice strategies and techniques and participate in activities that are educational and fun. Participants leave the workshop with extensive handouts and print materials.

3. The Terrible Two's, Three's & TELETUBBIES

4. What Children Can Learn About Themselves by Learning About the Animal Community and the Environment ZOBOOMAFOO Workshop

Other workshops currently in development are:

1. Between the Lions Workshop: Based on the brand new, very popular series of the same name. Between the Lions is designed to help young learns discover the joy of reading. For children ages 4 - 6 years.
2. Arthur Workshop: Another workshop based on the very popular children's program, Arthur.
3. Reading Rainbow Math Workshop: A workshop based on very popular Reading Rainbow series with a strong emphasis on math skills for the whole family.
