In this activity children will discover new and exciting plant life in their own backyard. This activity encourages children to explore the lush vegetation that surrounds them.

Step 1: Get up and go outside. Look for new sprouting seedlings..
Step 2: Take a picture of the seedling and/or color a picture of the new seedling. Make sure you label and date your picture.
Step 3: Wait a week and then view your seedling again. How has it changed?
Record these changes by repeating step 2.
Step 4: Repeat steps 2 and 3 for a month. Review all of your pictures and see how your seedling has developed.
