All About Your "EekoWorld" Discoveries
Or, tell us about your "Truckee Meadows" Creature instead.

Step 1: Visit Eeko Worldand choose an ecosystem to explore.

Step 2: After visiting the EekoWorld website and exploring an ecosystem, go out and explore your own environment. Your environment is all around you. You could visit the Truckee River , a park, the lake, the school playground, your neighborhood, even your very own backyard. While you are exploring the ecosystem that surrounds you, be sure to look at the plants and animals. Think about ways that you could help preserve your own community.

Step 3: Visit KNPB's Discovering the Oasis website and tell us what you've learned about your own environment. Be sure to tell us about the plant and animal life, as well as how you can help keep the Truckee Meadows an eco-friendly place to live. Kids, have your parents, a brother, sister, grandparent or other adult in your life help you with this.

Step 4: After you have completed the following questions be sure to send us the information by clicking on the "I Discovered the Oasis" button.

Step 5: Visit other fun activities on KNPB's Discovering the Oasis and the EekoWorld sites. Explore the 'take a walk' feature, see other links, then venture on over to TMWA Academy site and view their fun exciting and educational online tours.
