September 15, 11:00am. at Reno's Meadowood Mall in the Grand Court KNPB continues its’ Share A Story time, where Miss Ronda entertains children and parents alike with stories, songs, a video presentation and activities – this month will feature a book from the PBS series Jakers! We are kicking off season #4 of our locally produced Wild Nevada series and celebrating the announcement that this popular outdoor travel program is now being offered to PBS stations nationwide! KNPB Channel 5's Capital Campaign
KNPB Channel 5 is quietly marching toward the end of our capital campaign for the conversion to digital television (DTV). This project began in 2000 with an unfunded FCC mandate that all television stations – commercial and public – make the transition from analog to digital transmisson.
