When she is not designing web pages, she is actively exploring the backcountry of Nevada. She has plenty of Nevada dust on her well-worn boots and is always ready for a new adventure. As the Online Producer at KNPB, Chris has created companion web sites for a number of local programs and productions, including Wild Nevada. Chris is often on the studio crew of local productions, assisting with the public television stations outreach projects, and working on DVD projects as part of the KNPB DVD Production Group. A graduate of University of Nevada, Reno, Chris received a Bachelor of Arts degree with dual majors in Journalism and English Literature. She is an avid outdoorswoman, who enjoys camping, horseback riding, jogging, and hiking with her dog Cheyenne. She enjoys traveling and trying new sports. Dave Santina, Host and Producer Dave is Executive Producer at KNPB Public Broadcasting. A self-admitted tenderfoot, he grew up on sidewalks, not trails. Though he is more comfortable in sneakers than in hiking boots, he is filled with curiosity and a sense of adventure. Dave Santina has been with KNPB for over ten years in various capacities, from master control operation to videography editing, producing, directing and co-hosting Wild Nevada. He has produced or directed many of KNPB 's local productions such as The Nevada Experience's "Boulder City," Capitol Issues, and election programming. Dave is the producer of the popular book review series Book Talk; he is also the Manager of DVD Authoring in the KNPB DVD Production Group. A graduate of Arizona State University's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Telecommunication, Dave received a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Broadcasting Production. Dave has a great fondness for road trips and traveling. Jack Kelly, Executive Producer Jack Kelly is Vice President for Production at KNPB Public Broadcasting. He has more than twenty years experience producing radio and television programming. His accomplishments include winning an Emmy Award for the PBS documentary Walter Burley Griffin: In His Own Right. His national documentary work includes Tarahumara: Pillars of the World, Vanished Rome, Mr. Shimkus Goes to Washington, and The Holocaust: The View from the Heartland. Jack holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Niagara University and a Masters of Arts degree in Theatre from the University of Washington.Jack is the creator of Wild Nevada and can often be found exploring alongside Chris and Dave while carrying a camera on the Wild Nevada crew. He is an enthusiastic traveler, an ardent hiker, and a dedicated cyclist.
