Your chance to explore on and off the roadways of Nevada is coming with Wild Nevada. This public television series encourages viewers to travel along with them as they discover the state of Nevada. Each half-hour episode of Wild Nevada includes a two-day trip, which combines sightseeing with outdoor adventures, from rock climbing to biking, caving to backpacking. Wild Nevada encourages its viewers to follow the show's path and discover Nevada's scenic treasures for themselves. Wild Nevada has a companion web site at www.knpb.org/wildnevada/ that features more information about each trip featured on the series. Viewers can read host narratives of the various trips, review maps, find guide and outfitter information, and much more. Visitors to the web site can also email trip ideas to the show hosts and producers. The series has received recognition from the Nevada Wildlife Federation and praise from its audience for its entertaining, approachable and educational format.
