Reno's Mars Connection:
Erin Meehan Breen

And …I actually have a few thoughts on all of this.

Okay I’m going out on a biased limb here… but anyone who thinks we are alone in the universe is crazy.

That’s right. I think with all the combinations and all the millions of options out there… we can’t be alone. And, I think human nature will fuel our quest to find it.

While not very many of us get to have a front row seat for that search, like Dr. Calvin has, we can all view a lot about the universe from our very own Space Place… the Fleishmann Planetarium. If you haven’t been there, this is a shameless promotion for saying… you should go.

Where else in town can you buy astronaut ice cream, touch a falling star, compare your weight here to what it would be on Mars… or Saturn or Jupiter, and see stars galore?

In fact, they just got a new star projector that can show you the night sky from any spot currently mapped in our universe… in any year in history so far. How’s that for a new trick?

So don’t just dream of the stars… go look at them…. and dream of what’s beyond.

That's my opinion ... what's your? Write to me at here at In-Depth.
