Description:

Brothel is a look at the world's oldest profession. Alexa Albert looks into the day-to-day world of Nevada's houses of prostitution. As a guest at the Mustang Ranch brothel, she met a colorful, sometimes tragic set of characters. Readers are introduced to a number of women, many of whom are mothers and wives as well as prostitutes. Albert goes behind the doors of the "bedrooms," where the women entertain their clients, playing "voyeur," as she wrestles with the question at the root of her exploration.
