- Andy Barbano:
Andy Barbano has worked for years in politics admittedly leaning far to the left and always ready to shout his opinions for the rooftops to make sure they are heard. Barbano has run a number of campaigns on the state and local scene, and is a constant contributor to local media and local political roundtable discussion on the candidates and the issues. He also keeps a constant thumb on the pulse of politics with his Web site The Barbwire where he invites others to bring issues and ‘hang them on the Barb Wire’.
- Patricia Cafferata:
Patricia Cafferata became the first woman to hold office as Nevada Treasurer in 1982. Before that she served as a State Assemblywoman in District #25. Since then she’s worked as a Law Clerk under the Honorable David Gamble, Deputy District Attorney in Eureka County and District Attorney of Esmeralda County. Cafferata still works in private practice but has devoted much of the past 6 years to assisting her mother (Former U.S. Congresswoman Barbara Vucanovich) in writing her memoirs.
- Joe Dini:
Joe Dini knows the State Assembly from every angle. He not only held office representing Yerington for 22 years, he also served as Speaker of the Assembly for 8 terms and is affectionately still referred to a "Mr. Speaker”. Joe Dini understands the role leadership in the state serves…as well as he understands the role of Leadership in the State House. He now resides in Yerington with wife.
- Brian McKay:
Former State Attorney General Brian McKay served as Nevada’s top cop for 8 years from 1983-1991. He was always a politician who was able to weigh issues and situations and put the good of the state ahead of the party line. But he has always been a strong Republican and served as head of Nevada’s Republican Party for 4 years.
He has had his own private law practice since and keeps in touch with politics on the national, state, and local levels.
His educational background is in Environmental Science but for years his real work has also stretched into Public Policy.
