KNPB's OpenLine

OpenLine
An extension of KNPB outreach efforts, OpenLine call-in program is produced and broadcast as a regular monthly series. The show features a guest panel taking phone calls and answering online blog communication on a variety of timely, important topics affecting our community.

Reprise of the previously recorded broadcast:

Coming Monday, March 22nd at 6pm...

Tune in for an encore of the popular special "The Future of the News", discussing how changes and cut-backs in media entities may affect our community.

Live, call-in broadcast:

Coming Sunday, April 18th at 6pm...

As we get ready to celebrate earth day our next OpenLine tackles the issue of global warming. We’ll have a panel of experts ready to debate with each other and viewers as to whether or not global warming is real, if mankind is to blame and answer what questions you may have on the subject. Join us Sunday, April 18th at 6pm. In the meantime you can email your questions to openline@knpb.org and we may use them on the show.

OpenLine’s regularly scheduled programs are broadcast live, on selected Sundays, 6-7pm. Often connecting to KNPB programming, topics cover healthcare, environmental issues, government topics, the arts, and more.
