 Program Summary:
Caillou is a wide-eyed four-year-old who learns about life - one adventure at a time! From his own backyard to his very first airplane ride, Caillou discovers the wonder and excitement of being a little boy in a very big world.
Caillou airs weekdays on KNPB at 10am.
Meet the Characters:

Caillou is a 4-year old little boy with a great big imagination. Sweet and innocent, playful and curious, Caillou is amazed by all things new and wonderful - and he is always ready for a new adventure!

Rosie is Caillou's lively 2-year old sister. Rosie loves Caillou and loves to giggle. Caillou loves and protects Rosie, al-though he thinks she gets away with all kinds of things he's not allowed to do.

Mommy & Daddy can always be counted on to share in Caillou's adventures. Compassionate and caring, Mommy and Daddy always set aside special time just for Caillou.

Grandma & Grandpa love Caillou and he loves his grandmother dearly and adores his grandfather. Grandma is an artist who loves nature. Grandpa's always ready for adventure - a game of hide-and-seek or a story about Daddy, when he was a little boy.

Leo, Clementine, & Sarah are Caillou's friends from the neighborhood and childcare center. Clementine, age four, is one of Caillou's best friends. Leo, Caillou's very best friend from childcare, is funny and less inhibited than Caillou. They bring out the mischief in each other. Sarah is seven and represents the freedom and accomplishment that Caillou is just beginning to learn.

Gilbert the cat has a sense of superiority that comes with being a flesh and blood creature instead of a "mere" toy.

Teddy the bear is not without his own sense of self; he did, after all, once belong to Caillou's daddy.

Rexy the dinosaur is the youngest of the bunch - and his mission is to restore the place and glory of the dinosaur family. He loves the outdoors and discovering new places.
