KNPB Broadcast and Service Notices:

Due to the extreme winter weather we have experienced this year, the translators that serve many viewers in the Lake Tahoe area (both north and south) and Truckee areas are currently not working, or working only some of the time. The roads to these sites are still blocked by fallen trees and snow. KNPB is monitoring access to these sites, and is hopeful to have a technician on-site in mid-August. KNPB values our viewers, and regrets the inability to service these sites in a more timely manner.

The Ch. 33 translator; serving Genoa, Gardnerville, Minden, Jack’s Valley and parts of Lake Tahoe; has been reported to be back in service. If viewers experience a problem with the Ch. 33 translator, please contact Technology@knpb.org.

To report outages or broadcast issues, please email Evelyn Chmura, KNPB Manager of Technology and Operations at evie@knpb.org.

During these repairs and also available anytime, many of PBS and KNPB programs can be streamed online at watch.knpb.org or the PBS Video apps (pbs.org/anywhere).
